Sedu straightener as seen on TV. Have you seen it?
A friend of mine asked me recently about my new hair iron and that he had seen something on TV about them. The search began and if you have read some of my other articles on this site I don't give up too easily in my quest for knowledge from the Internet. I was hoping to find to find some worthwhile clip showing some secret filming of Jennifer Aniston having her hair straightened with a Sedu by her hair stylist. So the Sedu hair straightener as seen on TV search began.
A quick search of the As Seen on TV website produced nothing and it was now off to the search engines. Multiple searches later and I was still following dead end leads. The only reference to TV I initially managed to find was some references to other straighteners but alas nothing about the Sedu. I was beginning to get a bit desperate now as I hate being beaten, especially when the Internet has so much information to offer. Another few obscure search engines later and I was still none the wiser but now I do know practically every other product which has featured on TV. Everything from back scratchers to massage tools to robot waiters to crying dolls. But not my beloved Sedu.
So where to next. Ahh, I thought the makers of the Sedu must have a website and surely if there was a feature of their iron on TV they would show a clip on their website. This is where my search ended up and I had to admit a defeat of sorts. Their website didn't have any reference to the Sedu straightener as seen on TV but it did have the Sedu As seen in Allure June 2005 issue. This may not have been the secret video clip I was looking for but none the less some consolation that once again my Sedu purchase had been vindicated by one of the US's top magazines. My work here is done!
