Looking after your new hair straightener.

Although your new hair straightener is maintenance free it may become necessary on the odd acassion to clean the plates which can pick up dust or hairspray. The best way to clean hair straighteners is to use a soft cloth to wipe the plates, ensuring that the device is un-plugged and cooled down beforehand. On no account should you ever use thinner, gasoline or alcohol on your hair straightener. This can badly damage the hair straighteners sensitive plates and end up ruining it for good.

Also if for any reason your Sedu or any hair straightener should not work properly e.g. smoke coming out of it or it suddenly stops working, then switch the unit off wait for it to cool down and get a qualified person to have a look at it. Tempting as it might sound to have a go yourself, you may just end up making matters worse. Take it from someone who has done just that, not once but twice. You'd think I would have learned the first time.

The bottom line here ladies (and maybe a few gents) is look after your hair straightner and it will look after you for many years to come.
