Sedu hair care for the 21st century man.
There was a time when all the guys ever done was wash their hair and leave the rest to mother nature. Oh, how times have changed. While treating myself recently to some Sedu hair care a male friend of mine saw what I was doing and jokingly asked whether something could be done with his hair. Well, I didn't need to be asked twice and was straight, pardon the pun, onto the job.
Unlike my hair, which is coarse and thick, his hair was a lot finer and at first I wasn't sure if it was too fine. However after checking the temperature chart for his hair type I set the correct temperature on my Sedu Flat Iron to the right setting and away I went. I must admit, even though my hair takes about 15 minutes to do his took even shorter. Obviously his hair is finer but it was also much easier when standing over him. All throughout the process he had this worried look on his face as if he was totally going to regret ever letting me near him.
In the end he couldn't believe how well the flat iron had worked on his hair and he was so impressed he decided to give it a go himself. I must admit at this point I couldn't have prepared myself for what happened next and we both still fall round laughing whenever we talk about it.
I only left the room for 30 seconds when I heard a series of yelps. When I dashed back I found out he had got hold of the straightener and the first mistake he made was taking the Sedu from the bottom of his hair into the scalp. Now, I don't need to tell you that each time he did this he let out a sharp yelp as the heat scorched his scalp. By the time I got back into the room his head was surrounded by what can only be described as a mysterious cloud from which his face eventually emerged.
His head and hair did recover but if anything it did teach me a few lessons. Hair straighteners should be used with care and even more importantly if you love your 21st century man, don't let him "play" with your straightener.
